As an engineering
student, I love to make things from the Scratch, let it be :
A Software, A Tech
Solution or A Media Content.
And that is how I
take things #BeyondTheEdge.
So far I have been
using my Asus EeePC 1015CX since last 6 years. And I must say that I
have made most out of it. How far can an Intel Atom processor get
done? Still, I have optimized my codes to function smoothly.
My first software
was a Library Management tool. And I was in Class 12 that time. And
the entire software was created using my Asus Netbook, a very
precious gift of mine from my mom.
It was written in
Java using Netbeans and had a MySQL database. Sweet! It is my most
loved
project not only
because it was the first, But because it transformed the way our
school library functioned.
Well, it has been
almost 4 years. Now, I am working on IoT based on NodeMCU to develop
tech solutions that help to solve day to day problems. My current
project is a home security system.
Now I want to use
Image Processing which enhances the security system.
But developing an
image processing tool requires the superior processing power. The 8th generation Intel processor that comes with the Asus Vivobook S15 provides the right computing power that my task demand. Additionally, the Nvidia MX150
GPU which is the discrete GPU of Asus Vivobook S15 is a powerful yet compact and energy efficient GPU compared to the existing 940 series GPU from Nvidia. Last but not the least the 16GB RAM just makes my computing much faster.
